Fort Myers Chamber of Commerce luncheon

The Greater Fort Myers Chamber of Commerce will host its monthly luncheon from 11:30 a.m. to 1:15 p.m. on Tuesday, May 13, sharing insights on the local and state economy.
During the luncheon, attendees will hear from Sheridan Morby, senior research economist for the Florida Chamber of Commerce, who will share updates on both Florida's overall economic landscape and trends specific to Lee County and Fort Myers. Her presentation will cover metrics such as gross domestic product, labor market dynamics, housing market trends, talent pipeline and education data and other relevant indicators.
Morby's experience spans many subjects, specializing in labor market and workforce research. In her current role, she oversees the Foundation's numerous research projects and provides research insights for the Florida 2030 Blueprint and associated goals. She provides economic analysis to local chambers, developers and other key members and partners of the Florida Chamber Foundation.
Morby graduated from Florida State University and holds her master's degree in applied economics and a bachelor's degree in economics and statistics.
The May 13 luncheon will take place at DoubleTree by Hilton Fort Myers at Bell Tower Shops, located at 13051 Bell Tower Drive in Fort Myers. Admission is $35 for Chamber members and $45 for future members and includes lunch. Attendees must register for the event by Friday, May 9; walk-ins will not be accepted.
