Hospitality awards nomination deadline

Make sure your staff is nominated for this year's E Awards! Remind your guests that it is easy to nominate your colleagues for providing exceptional customer service at EAwards.org!
The nomination deadline is July 10, 2026 at 11:59 p.m.
Nomination criteria includes:
- Service satisfaction – going the “extra mile”.
- Leadership work ethic – willingness to help; attitude; problem-solving.
- Job knowledge – how their performance skills and creativity affected their service.
- Fort Myers - Islands, Beaches and Neighborhoods awareness – familiarity with and promotion of Lee County.
- Compassion – helping during a crisis or emergency without expecting or needing thanks just because you care.
Who is eligible to be nominated: Employees who work in hospitality and allied industries in Lee County. Lee County Government employees and volunteers are not eligible.
Who can nominate: Anyone who experiences exceptional customer service and who wishes to recognize the individual responsible. Self-nominations are not accepted.
The 26th Annual Elaine McLaughlin Outstanding Hospitality Service Awards will be held on Thursday, August 20 at Hyatt Regency Coconut Point Resort and Spa, 5001 Coconut Road in Bonita Springs.
