FORT MYERS, Fla. – BSSW Architects has named Miguel Goizueta, AIA, as a shareholder following five years of successful project leadership within the firm.
Goizueta, an architect and senior project manager, joined BSSW in December 2016 and has more than 26 years of experience in architecture and design. He serves as design leader, quality control and overseer of construction phase services for a wide variety of projects. His role within the firm also includes coordinating team members and mentoring developing professionals.

Goizueta’s project experience at BSSW includes architectural designs for multiple types of commercial and corporate buildings, including schools, government and public safety facilities, retail spaces, medical and business offices, public libraries, hotels, resorts, community centers, high-end residential developments and senior living communities.
Goizueta earned a professional bachelor’s degree in architecture from Florida Atlantic University and an architect degree from ISPJAE – Havana University. He has also earned the Historic Preservation Certification through the United Nations Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organization (UNESCO) in conjunction with the Complutense University of Madrid. Goizueta is certified through the National Council of Architectural Registration Boards, is a member of the American Institute of Architects and has served as an adjunct professor at Palm Beach State College.
