Moloney earns CFE designation

FORT MYERS,  FL, – Roy Moloney, senior accountant with McHale, P.A., recently earned the Certified Fraud Examiner (CFE) designation.

With fraud on the rise, organizations worldwide rely upon CFEs to safeguard their businesses from fraud’s devastating impact. CFEs are trained professionals who possess a unique set of diverse skills in preventing, detecting and investigating fraud. The Association of Certified Fraud Examiners (ACFE) oversees accreditation and includes more than 90,000 members worldwide.

Moloney joined McHale P.A. in 2021. He has a broad range of experience and skills in various fields including real estate, property management, construction and accounting. Moloney is a Certified Public Accountant (CPA) licensed in Florida, a Licensed Real Estate Broker, Certified General Contractor (CGC) and Community Association Manager (CAM). He holds a Bachelor of Science in Accounting from Florida Gulf Coast University, where he graduated summa cum laude in 2020. He is currently pursuing a Master’s in Accounting and Taxation.

He is an active member of several professional organizations including the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA), Florida Institute of Certified Public Accountants (FICPA), Lee County and Collier County Bar Association.

McHale, P.A. has been serving the Southwest Florida community since 1993 and specializes in forensic accounting, receiverships, litigation support and bankruptcies.
