MY Self Wellness Clinic and its Nonprofit Organization Warriors of Consciousness Partner with The Journey Home and Other Nonprofits to Help Those Who Can’t Afford Treatments
MY Self Wellness, a cutting-edge ketamine clinic and pioneer in the psychedelics space, and its nonprofit organization Warriors of Consciousness are partnering with three community organizations that provide much-needed services to veterans: The Journey Home; Iglesia De Cristo Genesis Shalom church, and the United Manganni Veterans.
With the mission to help those who cannot afford psychedelic ketamine therapy treatments, Warriors of Consciousness aims to assist those struggling with anxiety, post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD), depression and other mental health conditions. To date, Warriors of Consciousness has helped more than 70 individuals.
The Journey Home is a nonprofit organization with a residential facility serving male homeless veterans and providing outreach programs assisting all veterans at risk of homelessness. Opening its doors to the community as a meeting space, Iglesia De Cristo Genesis Shalom is a church in Naples, Florida; and the United Manganni Veterans is a 501(c)3 nonprofit organization dedicated to health and fitness through sports and recreation, with the mission of creating a community of veterans who train and socialize together.
Together, these partners will continue to identify veterans in need and provide services to southwest Florida area veterans through housing, community, spirituality, and mental health through Warriors of Consciousness’ free psychedelic ketamine therapy that helps to heal those struggling with post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD), anxiety, depression, etc.
Their collective mission is to provide a full suite of services that help veterans in all aspects of their lives. The group is planning a fundraising event for Q1 2024.
“There is a mental health crisis affecting our country’s veterans, and so many veterans in the southwest Florida community need help,” said MY Self Wellness President and Founder Christina Thomas. “We are grateful for our partnerships with The Journey Home, Iglesia De Cristo Genesis Shalom, and United Manganni Veterans, and the opportunity to work together.”
MY Self Wellness Chief Brand Officer Charles Patti said, “We are passionately aligned with these partners, knowing the importance of serving our veterans, just as they served us. We see the strong transformations veterans can experience as a result of psychedelic ketamine therapy. Everyone who needs access to these treatments should be able to find hope and healing and not be held back by financial constraints. We are happy to contribute these treatments to the partnership’s overall efforts.”
