Naples Airport achieves industry standard Safety 1st Clean certification

The Naples Airport has met all requirements for Safety 1st Clean certification by the National Air Transportation Association.

The NATA’s Safety 1st Clean certification represents the Naples Airport Authority’s continued commitment to ensuring the safest possible environment for our employees and customers. The certification ensures that the airport is utilizing industry best standards and practices for cleaning, disinfecting and facility operations in response to the pandemic.

“While the Naples Airport was already following stringent cleaning and disinfecting procedures prior to this certification process, attaining the Safety 1st Certification demonstrates our commitment to following the highest standards in the aviation industry and assuring our customers that their safety is the Naples Airport’s top priority.” said Christopher Rozansky, NAA executive director.

The Safety 1st Clean standard is produced by the National Air Transportation Association Safety Committee to provide general guidance on facility cleaning, disinfecting and facility operations in response to a pandemic. The goal of this standard is to safeguard FBO team members, clients, corporate assets and the general public. NATA and its membership are committed to helping reduce the spread of contagious diseases, but also understand that no cleaning and disinfecting standard is failsafe. This standard represents industry best practices and government agency guidance. For more information, visit www.nata.aero/safety-1st/clean.
