Naples Airport Authority appoints Brad Fagan as director of community relations and communications

The Naples Airport Authority has hired Brad Fagan, an experienced communication leader and U.S. Navy veteran, as director of communications to plan and direct strategy for the organization’s community relations department.

Fagan’s responsibilities include internal and external communications, community relations and outreach, internal and external branding, noise abatement initiatives and oversight of programs that maintain the Naples Airport Authority’s engagement and responsiveness to the community.

Prior to joining Naples Airport Authority, Fagan was communications manager for TISTA Science and Technology Corporation in Austin, Texas, a defense contractor supporting the Department of Veterans Affairs Financial Services Center. Fagan also has experience as a director of corporate communications for Health Center Partners of Southern California, and he served as executive director of marketing and communication for Providence Health& Services – Los Angeles Service Area.

Fagan’s roles with the U.S. Navy included director of public affairs, marketing and communications for the Navy’s Southwest region; commanding officer for the Navy’s Fleet Imaging Command Pacific; director of public affairs, Joint Task Force-Guantanamo Bay (Cuba); director of corporate communications and marketing for U.S. Naval Surface Forces, U.S. Pacific Fleet; chief of Navy public affairs plans and operations for U.S. Southern Command; and director of public affairs for the nuclear-powered aircraft carrier USS Nimitz.

Fagan, a Naples native and 1987 graduate of Naples High School, earned a Bachelor of Science degree in public relations from the University of Florida and a Master of Science degree in operations management from the University of Arkansas.
