No More In Person Help on Fort Myers Beach after April 13

The Disaster Recovery center at Beach Baptist Church on Fort Myers Beach will officially end operations on Thursday, April 13 according to the U.S Small Business Association (SBA). The center will be open normal hours, from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. till then. The Beach Baptist Church is located at 130 Connecticut St, Fort Myers Beach.

“We are still seeing survivors who need help with the disaster recovery process.” says Tauheedah Mateen, public relations specialist with the Office of Disaster Recovery & Resilience.

SBA was created in 1953 as an independent agency of the federal government to aid, counsel, assist and protect the interests of small business concerns; preserve free competitive enterprise; and maintain and strengthen the overall economy of our nation. Since Its founding, SBA has delivered millions of loans, loan guarantees, contracts, counseling sessions, and other forms of assistance to small businesses.
