Olde Cypress Celebrates Grand Re-Opening of its Remastered Course and Clubhouse

Naples, Florida – Olde Cypress celebrated the reopening of its remastered P.B. Dye golf course and 34,000-square-foot updated clubhouse. The grand reopening commenced with a ribbon cutting ceremony hosted by SWFL Inc. and a 200-member shotgun.

“The golf course remastering and clubhouse updates honor Olde Cypress’ legacy, while elevating the experience for members of this exclusive club,” said Brian Stock, CEO of STOCK Development, which owns Olde Cypress. “The multimillion-dollar investment represents the club’s continued commitment to unparalleled service and member experiences.”

Built in 1999, the private Olde Cypress was the first course in Collier County designed by P.B. Dye, the son of Pete and Alice Dye. All 18 greens, plus the practice green and chipping area were resurfaced with TifEagle Bermuda, the tee boxes were leveled and resurfaced, a new drainage system was installed and each of the course’s 98 bunkers was refreshed with new edging, contouring and new sand.

Updates to the 34,000-square-foot clubhouse include a transformed pro shop by Soco Interiors. New artwork and accessories throughout mix colorful, contemporary pieces with unique textural elements. The dining and ballroom spaces have been modernized with new lighting and flooring. The library has a lighter look with painted wood architectural details that contrast vividly with the fresh white walls.
