Oravec Named Cypress Cove Sales Manager

(Fort Myers, Fla. – July 12, 2021) – Maureen Oravec has been appointed Sales Manager at the HealthPark Florida Life Plan community of Cypress Cove.

Since joining Cypress Cove in November 2020, Oravec worked as a retirement counselor with a focus on prospect engagement and sales for the community’s soon-to-be-built luxurious 12-acre neighborhood, The Oaks at Cypress Cove.

She has worked in the Southwest Florida senior living and home care industry since 1988 and has helped in the successful sales of The Oaks’ 24 luxury lakeside villas and 24 spacious upscale high-rise apartments. Prior to joining Cypress Cove in November, Oravec worked at Greystone and Comfort Keepers where she was responsible for sales, business development, and office management.

Cypress Cove Executive Director Mary Franklin explains that Maureen’s appointment provides a smooth transition from the recent retirement of outgoing Marketing and Sales Director Gerry Harris. “Maureen,” adds Franklin, “brings a wealth of experience with over 20 years in healthcare and the senior living marketplace. We are fortunate to have her as leader of our sales team.”

Oravec, who looks forward to leading a team of dynamic individuals who take a concierge-centered approach to sales and relationship management, also brings a strong developed relationship and partnership with key leaders in the region’s healthcare and senior living industry. During her career, she has served as a board member of Meals on Wheels, CAMEO, the Friendship Center Senior Hunger Task Force, and as a co-founder of a volunteer agency serving underprivileged seniors.
