Othman Belkadi Joins Luminary Hotel & Co. as General Manager of The Silver King Ocean Brasserie

FORT MYERS, Fla. – Luminary Hotel & Co. is pleased to announce the appointment of Othman Belkadi as the new general manager of the hotel’s signature restaurant, The Silver King Ocean Brasserie. In his new position, Belkadi will work alongside the culinary team to revamp and refine the restaurant’s menus, add new prix fixe offerings, and elevate the overall guest experience with enhanced service training.

“Othman brings a depth of experience and energy to our team that will secure The Silver King as a world-class dining destination,” said Steve Adams, director of food and beverage. “His enthusiasm for food and wine and his unique international perspective will bring a new sophistication to the restaurant and the dining experience.”

With more than 25 years of experience in food and beverage operations, Belkadi’s career highlights include high-profile leadership and management roles at restaurants in New York City, Atlanta, Orlando, Miami, Marrakech and Casablanca. He received the permanent HACCP certification for Food Safety Handling in 2008 and has created detailed programs to train staff on the highest safety and handling standards. Born and raised in Casablanca, Morocco, Belkadi speaks English, French, Spanish and Arabic. He relocated to the United States as a teenager and graduated from the State University of New York (SUNY) New Paltz, where he received a degree in Business Administration.

As the hotel’s signature restaurant, The Silver King Brasserie features a menu of fresh Florida seafood prepared using classic techniques appealing to the modern palate. The sophisticated restaurant centers upon an open kitchen and chef-driven menu, offering a high-end dining experience that is still comfortably casual. The Silver King Ocean Brasserie is located inside the Luminary Hotel & Co. and is open Tuesday through Saturday from 5 to 10 p.m.
