Outlier Brands wins Silver Flagler Award
Outlier Brands, a national award-winning brand activation agency headquartered in Sanibel, is the recipient of a Silver Flager Award for “The Water’s Fine” spring and summer multi-media campaign for Sanibel Sea School. Outlier Brand specializes in business-to-consumer organizations and companies, with more than 35 years of experience and 1,000-plus success awards.
The same campaign was also awarded a Bronze Campaign Award from the Hospitality Sales & Marketing Association International in late 2024. View our campaign success story here.
The Sanibel Sea School campaign scored the second-highest point total in the “Specialty Advertising” category, along with Lee County Visitor and Convention Bureau’s “Savor the Shore” campaign. Outlier Brands and LCVCB are the only two entities in Lee County to win a prestigious Flagler Award at this year’s Governor’s Conference on Tourism, hosted late August in Tampa.
The campaign was one of more than 300 entries from tourism marketers across Florida, in 18 categories, with budgets small and multi-million-dollar. The Outlier Brand campaign was recognized for both its creative power, as well as success results, generating more than 410,000 engagements, along with a 300% increase in web visits over two months.
“We’re absolutely thrilled with the Silver Flagler award recognition,” says John Sprecher, President of Outlier Brands. “We’ve partnered with more than 100 travel and tourism entities across the country — major destinations to boutique marketers — and this is among our proudest moments. Flagler Awards are very, very difficult to win.”
