Precision Healthcare Specialists welcomes two urologists to SWFL practices

Precision Healthcare Specialists has added two board-certified urologists, Drs. Marc Guttman and David Wilkinson, to its urologic team in Southwest Florida. Both are accepting new patients at offices in Collier and Lee counties.

Dr. Marc Guttman

Guttman is a urologic expert, researcher, author and presenter. Board certified in urological surgery by the American Osteopathic Board of Surgery, Guttman specializes in the detection and treatment of urological pathologies and cancers. His expertise includes benign prostatic hyperplasia (BPH) therapies, including UroLift System, transurethral resection of the prostate and Aquablation. Guttman, who has treated Southwest Florida residents for 13 years, offers MRI Ultrasound Fusion prostate biopsy, as well as Axonics neuromodulation to restore bladder and bowel control, and advanced kidney stone management. Guttman is designated as a UroLift Center of Excellence for displaying proficiency using this innovative method to treat benign prostatic hyperplasia (BPH).

Before joining Precision Healthcare Specialists, Guttman served dual roles for more than a decade in Collier County as a physician for both 21st Century Oncology and Naples Urology Associates. He has presented at grand rounds and prestigious medical society meetings around the world, sharing his insights on minimally invasive and laparoscopic treatments for urological pathologies and cancer.

Guttman earned a bachelor of science degree in biology through the Brooklyn College Scholars Program, Honors Academy, at the City University of New York (CUNY) and completed a Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine degree program at the New York College of Osteopathic Medicine. He continued his training through internships at Maimonides Medical Center and Lenox Hill Hospital in New York before moving to Pennsylvania, where he became chief resident in urology at Albert Einstein Medical Center and Hahnemann University Hospital in Philadelphia.

Dr. David Wilkinson

Wilkinson, who is certified in urology through the American Board of Urology, practices general urology and provides treatments for overactive bladder, kidney stones, prostate cancer, hormone replacement therapy, bladder cancer and other conditions, including minimally invasive benign prostatic hyperplasia (BPH) treatments. Wilkinson, a teaching faculty member in urology since 2018, also is designated as a UroLift Center of Excellence.

Wilkinson started his career as a respiratory therapist and just returned to practicing medicine after receiving a double lung transplant following a prolonged battle with COVID-19. He previously was a urologist at Gulfshore Urology in Naples and has treated patients in Southwest Florida for nearly two decades.

A diplomat of the American Board of Urology, Wilkinson received a Bachelor of Science degree in allied health professions from The Ohio State University and earned a Doctor of Medicine at Wright State University, graduating with honors. He then completed urologic surgery training through a residency at the University of Kentucky.

Guttman treats patients at two locations in Collier County: 681 Goodlette-Frank Road, Suite 210, in Naples and 531 Bald Eagle Drive in Marco Island.

Wilkinson sees patients at two offices in Southwest Florida: 400 8th St. North in Naples and 9500 Bonita Beach Road in Bonita Springs.
