Preferred Travel of Naples congratulates Jessy LaPaglia as a new Rising Star

Preferred Travel of Naples is pleased to announce Jessy LaPaglia has been chosen as a Rising Star by the Travel + Leisure Travel Advisory Board (TAB).

TAB is a select group of owners and operators of the country’s most important travel agencies and each year, a select group of emerging travel advisors are invited to attend the Rising Stars Luncheon at ILTM (International Luxury Travel Market) in Cannes, France. ILTM is the largest luxury travel forum in the world and ILTM Cannes is the flagship luxury travel trade show that includes educational sessions, networking, and glamorous parties.

The advisors who are nominated are handpicked from top agencies across the United States for their impressive clientele. The Rising Stars were given the opportunity to shadow the TAB member who nominated them at ILTM Cannes. This gave the nominee the opportunity to gain unparalleled access to meet world travel industry leaders.

Olga Placeres, Owner and President of Preferred Travel, and TAB member nominated LaPaglia for the prestigious designation and was very proud when LaPaglia was chosen. Both, LaPaglia and Placeres celebrated at the ILTM Cannes Rising Star luncheon this past winter.

LaPaglia is a luxury travel advisor who began her love for travel at an early age while frequently visiting travel agencies in her hometown of Erie, Pennsylvania. She joined Preferred Travel in 2018 and specializes in luxury ocean and river cruising, multigenerational travel, bespoke/customized itineraries, and guided tours.

“I knew I wanted to work in the travel industry from an early age and earning my Marketing degree from Pennsylvania State University helped me achieve that goal. I am now happily grounded in Naples, Florida with my husband and two children, and a proud member of the Preferred Travel team,” said LaPaglia.
