Priority Marketing’s Teri Hansen earns highest honor from American Advertising Federation, SWFL Chapter

FORT MYERS, Fla.  – Priority Marketing President and Creative Director Teri Hansen, APR, was named a Silver Medal Award recipient by the American Advertising Federation, Southwest Florida Chapter at the 2022 American Advertising Awards on Feb. 19. Priority Marketing also won 10 ADDY Awards in the organization’s annual awards program, including one of the event’s highest honors.

The Silver Medal Award is the organization’s highest honor bestowed upon a member of the Southwest Florida advertising community and is only awarded when the judging committee determines a candidate worthy of recognition. The award recognizes individuals who have made outstanding contributions to advertising by actively furthering industry standards, creative excellence and responsibility in areas of social concern. Honorees are selected by past winners of the Silver Medal Award.

“To be recognized among such an incredible group of advertising professionals is such an honor,” Hansen said. “I feel so humbled to be selected by my industry peers – many who have been friends and colleagues since my first days in the industry – to receive this prestigious recognition.”

Priority Marketing was recognized among the evening’s highest honors, earning the Best of Electronic Award in the Film, Video, & Sound – Audio/Video Sales Presentation category for its creation of a Chocolate & Wine Tasting promotional video for Norman Love Confections. In addition to the “Best of” award, Priority Marketing’s work also won two Gold ADDY Awards and seven Silver ADDY Awards for work completed for several of the company’s for-profit and nonprofit clients.

The American Advertising Awards is the advertising industry’s largest and most representative competition that recognizes and rewards the creative spirit of excellence in the art of advertising. The three-phase awards program includes local, district and national competitions.

The local competition includes agencies and in-house marketing teams representing the five-county region of Collier, Lee, Charlotte, Hendry and Glades. Entries honored at the local level are considered in the district competition, which includes Florida and all of the Caribbean.
