Project Design II Grand Reveal showcases Southwest Florida’s Expanded Ronald McDonald House
FORT MYERS, FL (September 28, 2020) Ronald McDonald House Charities® Southwest Florida (RMHC SWFL) presents the Project Design Grand Reveal to honor the generous and talented interior designers that have collaborated to transform the new wing of the Southwest Florida Ronald McDonald House. The designers, along with sponsors, vendors, charity supporters, board of directors, and staff will gather on Thursday, December 3, 2020 at the Ronald McDonald House to showcase the expanded “home away from home” for families with children receiving treatment at Golisano Children’s Hospital. Since the kick-off luncheon held in November 2019, these top interior designers have been working to creatively enhance six new bedrooms, two new offices, one new public restroom, one new storage closet, and a new entry hallway.
The evening will begin at 5:30 p.m. with small group tours of the expansion and continue with cocktails, light bites, and a brief program to recognize the designers. Design Co-Chair Suzanne Costa of Suzanne Costa Interiors, who brought the concept from her experience with Project Design at the Long Island Ronald McDonald House, and Co-Chair Jeffrey Fisher of Jeffrey Fisher Home, are among the featured speakers for the event.
The Ronald McDonald House expansion and Project Design 2020 provides even more comforting accommodations to the many families served by RMHC SWFL each year and enhance the family-centered care they provide through the Charities’ cornerstone program.
