The Inn on Fifth & Club Level Suites in downtown Naples announced today the promotion of Milena Maksimova to General Manager and five other key promotions and additions to the management team at the iconic Forbes Four-Star, AAA Four-Diamond hotel. Other internal promotions include Front of House Manager Miriam Graniel; Revenue Manager Shanda Williamson; and Club Level Manager Nancy Hernandez. New to the hotel’s executive team are Catering and Conference Services Manager Reena Felix; and Group Sales Manager Tammy Smith. The management announcement comes on the heels of a recently completed $5 million renovation in October, which included refinements to the hotel’s rooftop pool and courtyard and introduced a new level of sophistication to all 119 guest rooms, with special touches such as French oak floors in the Club Level Suites and porcelain tile flooring in the main building, custom quartzite bathroom vanities, contemporary lighting and more.
“We couldn’t be more excited to announce our new executive team at the Inn on Fifth, who are working hard to gear up for the 2020 season, which looks to be our best one yet,” said Cathy Christopher, Director of Sales and Marketing for the Inn on Fifth & Club Level Suites. “The hotel’s owner, Phil McCabe, has a commitment to train and promote from within and a knack for recognizing individual talents and strengths. He knew these six would thrive in their new operational roles and didn’t hesitate to direct their career paths accordingly.”
New General Manager Milena Maksimova first joined the Inn on Fifth in 2012 and has since displayed a commitment to delivering exceptional customer service, careful attention to detail and hospitality, and extensive knowledge of the Inn on Fifth brand. Prior to her new position, Maksimova worked her way up from front desk agent to reservations manager, and most recently, front office manager. Her unwavering passion for leading her team by example, desire for continued growth and taking on new challenges, and dedication to customer service are trademarks of her career. Maksimova will oversee the day-to-day operations of the boutique property.
With more than 24 years in the hospitality industry, Front of House Manager Miriam Graniel started at the Inn on Fifth in 2007 and worked her way up from front desk agent to club level manager, which was her most recent position. As the recently promoted Revenue Manager, Shanda Williamson will work to develop the hotel’s revenue management strategies, including analyzing market booking and market trends, while maintaining room rate parity. New Club Level Manager Nancy Hernandez will be responsible for all day-to-day operations at the hotel’s luxurious Club Level Suites, as well as customer service for guests who require a higher level of attention. This is the second promotion for Hernandez, who started her career at the Inn on Fifth in 2011 as a front desk reservationist.
New to the Inn on Fifth, Catering and Conference Service Manager Reena Felix will be responsible for overseeing business, group meetings, special events and all event catering. Prior to joining Inn on Fifth, Felix was the Beach/Pool & Banquet Manager at Marco Beach Ocean Resort. Group Sales Manager Tammy Smith is the newest team member at the Inn on Fifth and will be responsible for maintaining relationships with existing partners and clients, and developing new programs and strategies to help grow the hotel’s group business.
