Provident Jewelry to Double Size of Store on Fifth Avenue South in Naples

The Fifth Avenue South Business Improvement District (BID) is pleased to announce that Provident Jewelry plans to expand its store along Naples’ Historic Main Street. The build-out will more than double the total amount of space from about 2,800 square feet to 6,000 square feet, allowing for an expansion of the store’s exotic inventory.

With almost three decades of experience in buying and selling fine estate jewelry, rare gems and luxury timepieces, Provident Jewelry operates seven locations in South Florida, including Naples and Fort Myers. The store location at 766 Fifth Ave. S., is expected to undergo construction beginning in April with completion anticipated by mid-November.

“Our vision for this store is to build on Provident’s successful bridal and watch business as well as the estate jewelry buying and selling business,” said Jarred Kaplan, Managing Partner for the Naples and Fort Myers stores. “Ultimately, we would like to move into super unique, one-of-a-kind pieces, including colored stones, diamonds and emeralds.”

A one-of-a-kind piece that is now available in the Fifth Avenue South store, for example, is a Harry Winston sapphire and diamond necklace that is currently priced at $3.6 million.

In addition to expanding the shopping space, the build-out is designed to give customers a much more exotic and luxurious experience when shopping for jewelry. This includes exquisite areas for socializing and more private areas for private showings for customers.

Featuring more than 220 businesses, including high-end shops, world-class dining, unique boutiques and galleries, and exciting entertainment options, Fifth Avenue South is the vibrant heart of Naples. For further information, visit www.FifthAvenueSouth.com.
