Rehmann announces Florida promotions

Rehmann has promoted Kim Martin, ChFC®, CLU®, MSFS to principal in the firm’s Stuart, Florida office, and has appointed two associates – Lisa Horesh of the firm’s Boca Raton office and Yamirka Suyi of the firm’s Bonita Springs office – to manager and senior roles.

Martin provides comprehensive wealth management advice to high net worth individuals, families and small company business executives. She joined Rehmann in 2015 in connection with the firm’s business combination with Roegiers Goldin Chappel Nall & Associates, where she served as president of the firm’s wealth management division. Her financial services career began in 1988 and she has extensive experience with insurance planning for estates and business owners, individual high net worth portfolio management, corporate retirement plan consulting and education funding strategies.

Martin holds a Master of Science in Financial Services from The American College in Pennsylvania, where she earned the Chartered Financial Consultant (ChFC®) designation and the Chartered Life Underwriter (CLU®) designation. She is a member of the Professional Achievement in Continuing Education (PACE) program at The American College, Martin County Estate Planning Council and Martin County’s Student Advisory Council. Additionally, she holds the Series 7 and 66 security registrations and maintains life insurance, disability insurance, long-term care insurance and annuity licenses.

Horesh has been promoted to Boca Raton office manager. In addition to being obsessed with client satisfaction, she is responsible for running the physical office, billing and offering professional support. Horesh received bachelor’s degrees in both computer science and textile design.

Suyi has been promoted to advisory and tax senior in the firm’s Bonita Springs office. She provides state and local tax (SALT) consulting services to help clients minimize tax and manage risk. She also provides corporate services to both medium and large sized clients as well as non-traditional services, including corporate tax consulting. Her skills include voluntary disclosures, technical memorandums, implementations of business structure changes, identification of weakness in your current processes, identification of tax overpayments or significant exposure for underpayments, audit defense and negotiation with the states and tax compliance engagements. Suyi received both her bachelor’s degree in accounting and her master’s in accounting and taxation from the Florida Gulf Coast University.
