Reneé Stoll earns professional public relations accreditation
Reneé Stoll of the Southwest Florida Chapter of the Florida Public Relations Association, recently earned her professional public relations accreditation, and received the designation of Accredited in Public Relations.
Stoll joins the more than 4,500 active public relations professionals worldwide who represent an elite group of skilled professionals committed to practicing with high ethical standards, including 36 currently in Southwest Florida.
As the director of communications at Avow in Naples, Stoll manages the non-profit’s communications, public relations and advertising. She has enhanced Avow’s marketing and public awareness strategies and earned the hospice organization several Telly and Communicator Awards for video marketing content, including a documentary film with one of Avow’s founders that premiered at the Naples International Film Festival.
Before her current role, Stoll owned a video production and marketing agency, where she led marketing projects and produced content that elevated client engagement and visibility. She also had a career in broadcasting, reporting for leading networks such as WABC-TV in New York, WFTV-TV in Orlando, and WINK and WFTS in Fort Myers, where she delivered Emmy-nominated, viewer-centric content. Stoll holds an MBA with a concentration in project management from the University of Louisiana at Lafayette, a bachelor’s degree in broadcast journalism from the University of South Florida, and a drone pilot UAS license with the FAA.
To earn public relations accreditation, candidates must pass an oral presentation and written examination administered by the Universal Accreditation Board, which is an alliance of eight national and statewide professional associations dedicated to furthering the field of public relations and the development of public relations professionals. FPRA is a member of the UAB.
