Rona Tablante promoted to guest experience manager
Crowne Plaza Ft. Myers Gulf Coast has promoted Rona Tablante to guest experience manager, responsible for ensuring guests receive a top-tier experience during their stay.
“Rona’s dedication to our guests and her remarkable work ethic have been evident since day one,” said Brian Holly, the managing director of Crowne Plaza Ft. Myers Gulf Coast. “We are thrilled to watch her step into this leadership role and have supported her ambitions for advancement during her tenure here.”
Originally from Caracas, Venezuela, Tablante previously worked on the hotel’s housekeeping team, helping the property garner some of the highest guest satisfaction scores across the global IHG brand. Impressed by her initiative, problem-solving skills and exceptional customer service, management transitioned Tablante to the front desk, where she took on the fast-paced responsibilities of guest relations.
“My focus is making every guest feel heard, valued and cared for, and creating a positive and memorable stay,” said Tablante. “I am passionate about continuous growth and improvement. I find fulfillment in making a positive impact, whether by enhancing guest experiences, supporting my team or improving processes.”
She credits her success to the support, guidance and mentorship of colleagues and the hotel’s leadership team.
Tablante’s professional background is defined by adaptability and quick advancement. She began her career at a Venezuelan automotive oil company before relocating to Illinois, where she managed a team of 40 employees in a digital archiving role.
