Saltlife Marina opens to the public on Estero Bay

London Bay Development Group has announced the public opening of Saltleaf Marina, the latest milestone in the continued evolution of Saltleaf on Estero Bay, introducing a newwaterfront access point within the 500-acre coastal village taking shape along one of Southwest Florida’s last great stretches of waterfront.
Located on Coconut Road, Saltleaf Marina features 72 slips and a public boat ramp, creating a direct connection to the Estero Bay Aquatic Preserve, the region’s barrier islands and open Gulf waters. Ten slips are available for transient public launch use on a daily-fee basis, accommodating vessels up to 28 feet in length, while an onsite ship store offers boating essentials, snacks, beverages, apparel and other items for a day on the water.
Beyond recreational access, Saltleaf Marina also provides docking for local fire and sheriff marine units, supporting public safety operations and helping improve emergency response times throughout Estero Bay.
“Saltleaf Marina is a defining piece of what we envisioned for Saltleaf on Estero Bay, and seeing it open to the public is an incredible and meaningful moment for our team,” said Mark Wilson, CEO of London Bay Development Group. “With Saltleaf Golf Preserve open, Acqua Bistecca welcoming guests and the first tower of The Ritz-Carlton Residences, Estero Bay now complete, the marina rounds out the experience we have been building across the first phase of the community. New marina access is increasingly rare in Southwest Florida, and this opening gives the community a thoughtful new launch point to explore Estero Bay, the Gulf and the natural beauty that makes this area so special.”
“Saltleaf Marina’s public opening marks an important milestone for Bonita Springs and Estero Bay, returning access to a meaningful stretch of waterfront for our community,” said Bonita Springs Mayor Mike Gibson. “The marina, and the Saltleaf community as a whole, are helping transform this area in a positive and lasting way. We are grateful to London Bay Development Group for its investment, vision and commitment to bringing this important project to life.”
Alongside the marina, Acqua Bistecca Estero Bay, the Italian-inspired waterfront restaurant by Michelin-starred Chef Michael Mina, is open to the public at 5500 Coconut Road. Realized by London Bay, in partnership with The Mina Group, the restaurant is centered on wood-fired steaks, house-made pasta and pristine local seafood, with indoor and outdoor dining overlooking the marina and surrounding mangroves.
The community is also home to The Ritz-Carlton Residences, Estero Bay, featuring 224 luxury residences across two towers, and Saltleaf Golf Preserve, with an 18-hole championship course designed by four-time major champion Raymond Floyd and a nine-hole short course.
