Sanibel Captiva Beach Resorts Appoints New Human Resources Director, Announces Promotion to Director of Finance
Sanibel, FL – Sanibel Captiva Beach Resorts, Southwest Florida’s leading hospitality marketing and management organization, has announced the addition and promotion of two key members. They include:
Laurie Rutherford, Human Resources Director. Rutherford brings almost 25 years of experience in human resources within the hospitality industry. Most recently, she served 14 years as Vice President and Human Resources Director at staySky Hotels, Resort & Vacation Clubs. At SCBR, she’ll bring her expertise to a variety of responsibilities including payroll, benefits, recruitment, workplace compliance, employee relations. performance and talent management, training and development, and other related areas.

Aleksandra Smolnicka-Dos Santos, Director of Finance. In addition, Aleksandra (Ola) Smolnicka-Dos Santos has been promoted to the position of Director of Finance for Sanibel Captiva Beach Resorts. Across 16 years with the corporation, she has served in a variety of areas from guest relations to finance to human resources. She is a graduate of the University of Administration and Business, and the Academy of Finance, both in Poland.
