SBA, Small Business Majority Host In-Person Launch Event to Announce New Collaboration Geared Toward Helping Small Business Owners Navigate Economic Challenges

“The Bottom Line” Co-sponsorship and Webinar Series Will Bring Together Government Officials, Small Business Advocates, and Economic Experts to Introduce Entrepreneurs to Timely Tools and Resources for Small Business Owners With a Focus on Addressing Economic Challenges and Pivoting to Stable, Steady Growth

WHAT:
On Monday, August 22, 10 am ET, join the U.S. Small Business Administration (SBA) and Small Business Majority for an in-person agreement signing event to launch “The Bottom Line” webinar series.

WHY:
More than two years into the pandemic, small business owners and their families are still trying to recover and return to pre-pandemic revenue and operations. Polling from Small Business Majority revealed that 24% of small business owners did not know if they would survive the next six months without additional funding or market changes, making federal resources critical.

The new Inflation Reduction Act (IRA) law opens the door to enact more robust, targeted small business policies to help entrepreneurs navigate challenges such as inflation, supply chain disruptions, workforce shortages, and much more.

The Bottom Line webinar series will complement the IRA and introduce small business community members to a diverse suite of resources for long-term, stable, and sustainable growth.

WHEN:
Monday, August 22, 2022, 10:00 a.m. – 10:30 a.m. ET

INVITED SPEAKERS:
Isabella Casillas Guzman, Administrator, SBA
Mark Madrid, Associate Administrator, SBA Office of Entrepreneurial Development
