FORT MYERS, Fla. — Seagate Development Group announces the addition of Bob Schneider as Director of Residential Purchasing. He will manage the purchasing process for Seagate model and custom homes as well as remodel projects throughout Southwest Florida via sourcing new suppliers, establishing relationships with vendors and negotiating purchasing contracts.
“Bob climbed the ladder in this industry very quickly, so he is an ideal fit for one of our biggest and most successful departments in one of the fastest-growing, most forward-thinking companies in Southwest Florida,” said James Nulf, Jr., Chief Operating Officer & Partner of Seagate Development Group.
Bob launched his residential purchasing career at WCI Communities, Inc. where he worked with trade partners, construction managers and bidding vendors on new communities and projects throughout the region. This segued into a purchasing agent position with Stock Development, in which he added custom pricing and the analysis of structural options to his portfolio, among many other duties. Stock Development then promoted him to a purchasing manager, responsible for an entire purchasing team in Collier, Lee, Charlotte and Sarasota counties. Bob advised in hiring decisions, trained custom pricing estimators, reviewed and approved client custom options and pool packages, as well as performed estimates for design-related plan modifications, etc.
“Seagate’s concierge levels of service allow me to bring the very best options to clients, based on the lifestyle they desire and the dream home they have always imagined,” Bob said. “We are taking a process that homeowners expect to be stressful and streamlining financial stewardship and exceptional customer service for the most efficient residential purchasing sector.”
