Seagate Hires Human Resources Manager

Kathy Rossi

FORT MYERS, Fla. — Seagate Development Group has hired Kathy Rossi as Human Resources Manager.

“A 25-plus-year human resources veteran, Kathy will lead recruiting efforts, further develop corporate human resource policies and advise our team as we continue to grow in every capacity,” said James Nulf, Jr., Chief Operating Officer & Partner of Seagate Development Group. “She has experience with companies of any size and scope, so we’re very fortunate to have Kathy join us, especially at this time.”

Originally from New Jersey, she launched her career as a file clerk in the human resources department of a Boca Raton technology firm. There, Kathy quickly discovered a passion for the industry, which ultimately took her to Southwest Florida where she worked as a recruiting manager for WCI Communities. Kathy later took this role to new heights with ASG, Inc – a talent scout for sales employees worldwide. Prior to joining Seagate, she spent 11 years at Paychex Inc., most recently as a human resources consultant, providing HR outsourcing services to over 100 clients via counsel, collateral, etc.

“I love the duality of helping a company, while helping its people,” Kathy said. “Seagate has a great team, and everyone is a leader in their own position, so I am very pleased to help the company and the individuals grow in number, efficiency, quality and more, especially as so many new things happen.”

With a bachelor’s degree from International College and a master’s degree in strategic HR management from Walden University, Kathy has SHRM-CP (Society for Human Resource Management-Certified Professional) and PHR (Professional in Human Resources) certifications from HRCI (Human Resource Certification Institute). When she’s not working, Kathy volunteers for SHRM SWFL.
