Seagate Hires VP of Fortune 500 REIT as Chief Financial Officer

FORT MYERS, Fla. — Seagate Development Group announces the addition of industry veteran Iain McGill as Chief Financial Officer. Iain will oversee all financials for Seagate’s expanding enterprises, including commercial and residential development and construction, residential remodeling and tenant improvements, property management and leasing, and interior design.

Iain brings over 25 years of experience to Seagate as a well-versed finance and investment leader within the real-estate industry. Most recently, Iain served as the primary finance executive of the northeast U.S. portfolio for Federal Realty Investment Trust (FRT), where he managed and reported on a portfolio with a combined annual NOI in excess of $1.2 billion. Prior to that, Iain spent over 15 years with Berkeley Investments in Boston, Massachusetts. Berkeley is a full-service real estate investment and development company with an entrepreneurial focus on urban commercial and mixed-used properties. There, as Chief Financial Officer, he provided hands-on leadership in areas of planning, implementing, managing and controlling all financial- related activities. Iain was responsible for managing all accounting, treasury, finance and risk management functions of the company and its subsidiaries. He oversaw the entire life cycles of 21 individual commercial real estate investments and was the primary point of contact for investors and lenders. Iain’s proven ability to balance the short- and long-term objectives for a wide array of assets make him an invaluable addition to Seagate’s family of companies.
