The Department of Labor’s OSHA did not meet the Biden administration’s deadline of March 15th to issue a new emergency temporary standard for COVID-19 in the workplace, but the group still plans to issue an ETS in April. Due to the granted extension, the webinar has been postponed in order to give OSHA and the Office of Internal and Regulatory Affairs enough time to finalize, review, and publish its new rule.

The COVID-19 pandemic has created many challenges for a lot of industries, but the restaurant industry has been especially hit hard. In this one-hour live webinar, the Restaurant Law Center welcomes Melanie Paul and Chris Schlag, attorneys from Law Firm Partner JacksonLewis, who will present and discuss current strategies for compliance with the ever-changing guidance from OSHA and the CDC on necessary safety and health measures, quarantine, and leave when there is COVID-19 in the workplace.

SPEAKERS:

  • Melanie L. Paul, Principal, JacksonLewis – Atlanta, GA
  • Cressinda D. Schlad, Of Counsel, JacksonLewis – Austin, TX

MODERATOR: Angelo I. Amador, Executive Director, Restaurant Law Center – Washington, DC
