Southwest Florida Regional Technology Partnership Announces Keynote Speaker for 11th Annual Technology Awards

Ann E. Joyce, Chief Customer Officer and Executive Vice President, Technology, Supply Chain and Field Operations at Chico’s FAS will be the keynote speaker at the 11th Annual Technology Awards Dinner presented by the Southwest Florida Regional Technology Partnership (SWFRTP). The event is May 16, 2019 from 6:00 p.m. to 9 p.m. at The Club at Grandezza in Estero. Tickets can be purchased now at www.swfrtp.org. Awards event sponsorships are available for companies wanting their brand in front of the technology business and education community.

Joyce will be joined on stage by Chico’s executives Laura Loughran, Senior Vice President, Omni-Channel Sales and Russell Prentice, Vice President, Global Applications. The theme of the presentation will be an exploration of the modern day customer experience. The emcee of the SWFRTP Awards event is Lindsey Sablan, News Anchor, WINK-TV.

Awards will be presented in the following categories: Innovention Award, recognizing technical achievement by a Southwest Florida technology company; Transformation Award, highlighting the use of technology in government, nonprofit, or companies outside the technology sector to address a business or operational challenge; Technology Woman of the Year Award, which honors the accomplishments of a Southwest Florida woman in a technology role and her commitment to diversity in science, technology, engineering and mathematics (STEM) fields; Partnership Award, honoring a SWFRTP member who has truly forwarded the mission of the organization; Technology Student Award, honoring a high school or college student planning to pursue higher education or career in a technology field.

The awards event brings together technology leaders, professionals and students from across industry sectors to collaborate, engage and enjoy an evening of networking, celebration and hear from dynamic keynote speakers. The evening highlights the accomplishments of SWFRTP, it’s vision for the upcoming year and the organization’s impact on the community.
