Southwest Florida Resident Receives Prestigious Honors from National Organizations

Brendan Flores, a Senior Vice President and Consumer Banking Performance Manager at Bank of America, leverages over 15 years of industry experience to drive the consumer results across 100 of the bank’s locations in Southwest Florida. He has just received the following awards recognizing him as one of nation’s most prominent Filipino Americans.  

  • NAAPPPA’s Top 40 Political Operatives and Public Affairs Professionals Under 40: The National Association of Asian Pacifics in Politics and Public Affairs (NAAPPPA) named Brendan one of the nation’s rising stars in politics for his work to elect fellow Asian Americans and Pacific Islanders (AAPIs) around the country.
  • WorldRemit’s Top 15 Most Influential Filipinos in America: Brendan has also been recognized by WorldRemit, as one of the most influential Filipinos in the nation due to his professional and civic achievements with organizations such as the National Federation of Filipino American Associations (NaFFA).

Brendan made history when he was elected the first millennial and youngest ever President and National Chairman of the (NaFFA), America’s largest national affiliation of Filipino American institutions. In this role, he leads the organization’s national efforts to politically empower the 4 million Filipinos and Filipino Americans in the U.S. through civic engagement programs such as voter registration, voter protection and Get Out the Vote (GOTV).
