Spiro & Associates Named Business Partner of the Year by Cape Coral Community Foundations ENPY Awards
FORT MYERS, Fla. (Oct. 22 2020) — Spiro & Associates Marketing, Advertising, Public Relations and Brand Architecture is humbled and honored to announce their Business Partner of the Year distinction received this past Wednesday evening. This comes after the Cape Coral Community Foundation’s 4th Annual Excellence in Nonprofit Performance Yearly (ENPYs) awards ceremony, hosted virtually on October 20th via live, local broadcast and CTNTelevision.com.
Created to commemorate community leaders who too often go unrecognized, Business Partner of the Year is presented to people who regularly serve residents in Lee and Collier counties. More specifically, this includes using a business’ marketplace position to further a nonprofit’s mission, as if it were a central function of business operations. These pro-bono efforts should also be considered the management’s or staff’s genuine personal investment.
Spiro & Associates was one of 110 ENPY awards nominees and one of three finalists in its respective category, with 36 total finalists. Its online nomination highlighted ongoing initiatives with far-reaching results. They included The Rist Family Foundation’s inaugural Generous Lee event, which recently raised nearly $80,000 to benefit Valerie’s House and the Cape Coral Community Foundation; ‘SOS: Save Our Summer–Feed the Cape!’ on behalf of the Cape Coral Caring Center, which raised $33,650 and 3,250 pounds of food in 2018 for local families in need; and Eat.Clay.Love. by Ronald McDonald House Charities of Southwest Florida, which brought in $30,000 in its first year and led to several similar events.
Spiro hosted an ENPY viewing party at his home in Cape Coral to share in the celebration with staff, clients and friends of Spiro & Associates. Upon winning the award, the tv cut live to the viewing party where select winners were able to speak and recognize all those who were a part of the success and community participation.
