Stalbaum Appointed IT Infrastructure Manager

(Fort Myers, FL – January 12, 2021) – Cypress Living has appointed Chris Stalbaum as IT Infrastructure Manager for operational support to the HealthPark Florida-based company and its affiliates Cypress Cove and Cypress at Home.

Stalbaum, who for the last 12 years has headed up technology efforts at Hebron, Ind., Boone Township School District, will be responsibility for tactical execution of all infrastructure administration, desktop administration, and cyber security efforts for Cypress Living’s diverse healthcare organization.

He brings to the organization a strong background in technology infrastructure administration and project management, including skills in networking, systems, desktop administration, and information security management. His experience, explains Cypress Living Vice President of Innovation Joe Velderman, will be extremely helpful as the company continues to build innovative and technology-based platforms to serve its Cypress Cove Life Plan community and the home services and solutions company, Cypress at Home.

Cypress Living has been on a roadmap to modernize many technology platforms over the past few years, adopting a more cloud-based technology. Stalbaum’s experience with wide area networking, local area networking, Wi-Fi, and cloud application administration aligns very well with the direction that Cypress Living and its affiliate organizations are headed. He has previously received recognition for his work in information security and design of encryption for data in transit and at rest.

Cypress Living serves as the parent company to Cypress at Home and is the management and support arm for the HealthPark Florida Life Plan community of Cypress Cove. In the past year, Cypress Living has introduced numerous innovative technologies to its client and resident base.
