Stevens Construction Inc. expands project management team

Jon Zander has joined Stevens Construction as project manager, announced Mark Stevens, company president.

Zander will have overall responsibility for the management and execution of health care and commercial projects during all phases of design and construction, ensuring projects maintain budget and schedule. Zander will also work closely with the design team to provide cost savings suggestions, constructability analysis, as well as negotiate and award vendor contracts, conduct owner/subcontractor meetings and monitor the construction team.

Zander brings 24 years of commercial construction experience completing more than $250 million in commercial construction. He previously served as a project manager for a local construction management firm, where he completed a $12 million assisted living facility in Fort Myers and multiple retail and storage projects in Lee and Collier counties.

A Michigan Technological University graduate in civil engineering, Zander is also a Qualified Stormwater Management Inspector.
