Studio+ Hurricane Ian Recovery, Donations, and Volunteering

In the wake of Hurricane Ian, Studio+ has worked to collect, sort, and distribute donations all over Lee and Collier County to support those who have suffered and still suffering from this unprecedented storm. With the assistance of A.I.A. Southwest Florida and other organizations across the country, we have collected over $15,000 worth of donations and supplies. Also, Studio+ created S.W.F.L. Strong apparel to help raise additional funds for our community. 100% of the proceeds benefit the United Way of Lee, Hendry, and Glades Counties of S.W.F.L. Emergency Relief Fund. The designs honor iconic S.W.F.L. landmarks that were impacted Hurricane Ian. To purchase a shirt, visit: https://swflstrong.merchntly.com/

Additionally, our Fort Myers office is now dedicating at least one day a month to volunteer initiatives. In November, the Studio+ team and friends worked with P.E.R.T. (Patriot Emergency Response Team) and helped community members of Bayside Estates continue to clear their homes. This charming community was several feet underwater during the storm surge, and the damage is still evident. The team at P.E.R.T. have a heart of gold, and the thankful resident smiles we saw show how much all appreciate their efforts.

We are returning to Bayside in the new year and would love to have our readers join us in making a difference. There are jobs for all capabilities, and lunch will be provided. This volunteer event is only for those 16 years and older and will be held on January 20th, 2023, 8 am-1 pm at Bayside Estates located at 17513 Stevens Boulevard Fort Myers Beach, FL 33931.
