Summit Broadband Names Mark Rankin Chief Financial Officer

ORLANDO, Fla. (Feb. 18, 2021) – Summit Broadband (“Summit”), a leading fiber-optics telecommunications provider in Central and Southwest Florida, today announced Mark Rankin has been named Chief Financial Officer (CFO). Summit is a portfolio company of Grain Management, LLC (“Grain”), a leading Washington, D.C.-based investment firm focused on the global communications sector.

Rankin brings more than 25 years of accounting and finance to Summit, with 17 years in the telecommunications industry. He is responsible for all accounting and audit, tax, fleet, procurement, financial reporting and treasury functions of the company. Prior to joining Summit, Rankin was CFO of Armstrong Telecommunications, where he was responsible for the financial operations of the cable and telephone divisions of the Armstrong Group of Companies.
