Sunshine Ace Hardware’s Jason Heimberger selected for Associate Leadership Collier
Jason Heimberger, information technology administrator for Sunshine Ace Hardware, was selected for the Associate Leadership Collier Class of 2024.
Associate Leadership Collier, a program managed by the Greater Naples Chamber of Commerce and its Leadership Collier Foundation, is designed for emerging leaders and professionals seeking a broader, deeper perspective on Collier County. Hands-on experiences and behind-the-scenes sessions explore local government, education, economic development, the arts and other industries. The program’s goal is to prepare Southwest Florida’s next generation of community and business leaders.
Heimberger began working for Sunshine Ace Hardware in 1998 as a teenager, initially sweeping floors and assembling grills before moving into roles as a cashier, front-end supervisor and purchasing coordinator. As IT administrator, Heimberger supports 13 retail stores and more than 500 employees with all technology-related equipment and processes.
“I have been fortunate to grow personally and professionally at Sunshine Ace Hardware, but wanted to broaden my perspective by taking a deeper dive into the strengths and challenges of our community,” Heimberger said. “The Leadership Collier program offers tremendous opportunities to build a strong network and connections within the community, and I’m excited to learn more about the community I’ve called home for my entire life.”
Heimberger earned an Associate of Science degree in network systems technology from Florida SouthWestern State College (then Edison State College) and a Bachelor of Science degree in management information systems and business analytics from Colorado State University Global.
Associate Leadership Collier is a 10-week program that concludes with a graduation event in April.
