SVN Commercial Partners Senior Advisor completes sale of client’s building, spearheads relocation
Fort Myers, FL – Senior Advisor Corrie Gates of SVN Commercial Advisors not only put together a $1 million sale for Marine Detail Supply Company, but also was able to find a much larger space for lease to relocate the fast-growing company.
This deal happened quickly, with Gates selling the company’s flex-condo unit at 17000 Alico Commerce Court #101 in Alico Enterprise Center in about two months for $1,050,000. Marine Detail Supply Company had purchased the 3,400 square-foot unit just one year earlier for $699,900. The owner of the Marine company was an existing client of Gates prior to joining SVN Commercial Partners in 2022.
While Gates was working on the sale, she was also busy trying to identify industrial flex space for lease as a part of Marine Detail Supply Company’s relocation. She was able to secure a five-year lease for 10,100 square feet, tripling their footprint, at 14231 Jetport Loop near Interstate 75. Carson Baird of LandQwest Commercial represented the landlord, Accutek.
Gates said it was a struggle to find a new home for the company because, in the aftermath of Hurricane Ian, industrial flex space is limited in Lee County. That changed when she attended a recent networking event. “There was such little inventory available, but I was able to find this property at the event,” she said. “It really paid off this time.”
