SWFBT: Bringing the business mixer to a whole new level

SWFBT’s Elevated Event: Connecting At The Top will take place on Wednesday, June 24, from 4:30-7:30 p.m. at Spanish Wells Country Club in Bonita Springs.

“This is Southwest Florida Business Today’s first event in 19 years,” said Karen P. Moore, SWFBT’s Founder/Owner/Publisher.

“Over the years, many people in the Southwest Florida business community have suggested that SWFBT put on events. What most people don’t realize, however, is that to bring events to life is like starting a whole new business within your existing business. Events do not come together at all like a monthly newspaper, or operating a website business news service, that’s for sure!”

Moore is excited about this new venture because she plans to bring a different type of business event to the marketplace. “We decided to first bring to the market a business networking event.” She continued, “I wanted to create a safe social space in a relaxed yet elevated atmosphere.” The event is only open to business owners and C-Suite level executives. This type of setting, she noted, fosters connection, fellowship and engagement amongst Southwest Florida enterprise owners, entrepreneurs and executives.

A limited number of sponsorship opportunities are available and going quickly, she shared, and include broad exposure on SWFBT media channels. Among the earliest sponsors to date are Florida SouthWestern State College (FSW) and Image One Commercial Cleaning. Local Image One owner Tim Conn stated, “I’ve known and supported Southwest Florida Business Today for many years.” He continued, “I recommended to Karen many years ago that her company put on an event like this because of the unique business community contacts Karen has developed over the years—from the very largest company executives to the youngest startup business owner. So glad to see it coming to fruition—and excited to be a part of it!”

Tickets for the event are $50 and include heavy hors d’oeuvres, raffle prizes and a cash bar. There is an attendance limit of 150 and ticket registration will be opened to the business community shortly.
