Now more than ever, technology is changing almost daily. It seems that as soon as you purchase “the latest thing”–it’s already obsolete. Especially this past year, right?                                                                                                     
To address these rapid technological advances Southwest Florida Business Today (SWFBT) is dedicating its July FocusFeature to this theme, “SWFL’s Technology Update.” So share with us your business/industry’s latest technological updates, maybe because of or accelerated by COVID19, and how they affected your business here locally. Guest column guidelines are as follows. First, we’re looking for original material. Second, it must have a local angle and educate the business owner/operator; it must not promote your business. Third, we would like a 20-30 word “mini-bio” of the author and we will print that in addition to contact information. If you have a photo we can use, that would also be appreciated. The average column is around 500 words, but we are open to something more in-depth as well. Guest column submissions are due by 5pm Wed. 6/16.
 
For this issue, your submission can be about a new technology in your industry that you want to educate our readers about, or perhaps a new technology that you’ve used in your business and your experience with it. We are also still accepting COVID-19 Success & Survival  Stories, as related to using technology in your business (maximum 300 words.)
