Tamara Mann achieves dementia practitioner certification

Tamara Mann, aging life care professional with Choices by Cypress at Home recently achieved credentialing from the National Council of Certified Dementia Practitioners as a Certified Dementia Practitioner. The Council was formed to promote standards of excellence in dementia education to health care professionals who provide services to individuals who suffer from dementia. The goal of the NCCDP is to develop and encourage comprehensive standards of excellence in skills, education and sensitivity in dementia care. 

She is also a Professional member of the prestigious Aging Life Care Association. At the Professional level Mann, who holds a degree from Florida Southwestern State, has cumulative work experience in the field of Aging Life Care Management and is engaged in the practice of client-centered services to the elderly and their families. 

Mann has worked in healthcare over 27 years and serving the aging population has always been her career focus. She feels it is essential to assist clients in maintaining their highest level of functioning and preserving their personal definition of quality of life, no matter their limitations. She finds it rewarding to provide ongoing support to clients and families in their time of need.
