Testa-Lazarus selected as new Chief Human Resources Officer

FORT MYERS, FL– Lee County Clerk Linda Doggett announced the appointment of Kim Testa-Lazarus as Chief Human Resources Officer. She brings to the Clerk’s office more than 20 years of experience from the private and public sectors.

Testa-Lazarus is responsible for leading the overall human resources strategy, talent acquisition, and leadership development. She also oversees employee education and development, diversity and inclusion, and compensation and benefits.

“Kim has a unique blend of HR experience,” Doggett said. “Her addition to the team will help us ensure we continue to have the most skilled and talented workforce providing the highest quality services to our citizens.”

Prior to joining the Lee Clerk’s office, Testa-Lazarus worked as Senior Director of Human Resources for Signet Jewelers, Inc., the world’s largest retailer of diamond jewelry and owner of Zales, Kay Jewelers, and Jared. She also worked as Director of Human Resources for the Collier County Clerk of Courts.

Testa-Lazarus holds a bachelor’s degree in business management from Youngstown State University and a master’s degree in business administration from Malone University.
