The Greater Estero Chamber of Commerce awarded seven awards and announces new board

ESTERO, Fla. – The Greater Estero Chamber of Commerce’s annual awards luncheon presented awards to business owners, a not-for-profit and the Man and Woman of the Year, on Friday, June 17th at Pelican Sound. The sold-out event was decorated with pastels and Dr. Seuss quotes. Guests networked and took photos in the photo booth then enjoyed a delicious short rib lunch and got to hear from the keynote speaker Stefan Contorno discussing motivation. 

Jim Mendolera

Volunteer of The Year was awarded to Jim Mendolera with Estero Fire Rescue. Non-Profit of The Year was awarded to The Estero Historical Society. Young Professional of The Year was awarded to Chloe Maros with Select Realty. Woman-Owned Business of The Year was awarded to Nikolle Larrea with The Llama’s House. Business of The Year was awarded to Lake Michigan Credit Union (LMCU). The Chamber also presented the Man of The Year to George Zalucki and the Woman of The Year was awarded to Trish Leonard, owner of TLC Marketing & Creative Services.

In addition to the awards, the Chamber seated new officers as follows: Sharon Van Rite, Chairman of the Board; George Zalucki, Vice-Chair; Jim Mendolera, Treasurer; returning Board Members are Alex Greenwood, Blake Chapman (past Chairman) Pamela McCabe, Jeannie Gawronski, Joni Pavich, Jordan Azis, Bill Ribble, Jim Ward and Sally Ricciardelli.
