The League Club awards Goodwill SWFL $28,450

The Goodwill Mobile Community Resource Center was awarded $28,450 from The Community Trust Fund of The League Club. The Mobile CRC provides online services in areas where transportation is a barrier and enables Goodwill recruiters to do on-the-spot applications for employment at various community events. Some of the services offered by the Mobile CRC are online application assistance for SNAP, LIHEAP, assistance with navigating the Healthcare Network, free tax filing through VITA, and free digital skills training for those who want to become more independent navigating online.

The Goodwill Mobile Community Resource Center was awarded $28,450 from The Community Trust Fund of The League Club.

Mary Ann Lillie, President 2023-2024, The League Club: “For over 37 years, The League Club has honored its Commitment to Community by raising funds and distributing them through grants made to carefully vetted nonprofit agencies throughout Collier and Lee counties. These grants address the needs of at-risk children, families, the elderly and veterans. To date, The League Club has awarded over $7.3 million dollars to deserving grant applicants. The League Club is proud of our Commitment to Community and our ability to assist agencies dealing with food scarcity, housing, education, physical and mental health, and the arts.
