Theory Design Hires Design Executive

Chris Hensley
FORT MYERS, Fla. — Theory Design has welcomed Chris Hensley to the evolving brand as Vice President. In addition to leading the luxury creative team in collaboration with a growing list of residential, commercial and hospitality projects, Chris will focus on increasing brand awareness, sourcing new product lines and goods, as well as improving client experience through implementing streamlined processes and communication.
A lifetime entrepreneur, Chris brings over 20 years of expertise in retail furniture sales and staging, real estate, residential construction, information technology and software design. Prior to relocating to Southwest Florida from Chicago, Chris led a boutique design-build firm, providing oversight of several models and 35 custom homes over five years. Most recently, he served as Managing Principal of two Southwest Florida furniture showrooms that he launched in 2010. These full-service showrooms consisted of 12,000 square feet in Bonita Springs and 20,000 square feet in Naples. Chris is also a member of the Interior Design Society.
“Chris’ vision and experience – coupled with a history of software – aligns perfectly with our mission, particularly when it comes to engaging with those we serve and connecting our behind-the-scenes work with our hands-on deliverables like never before,” said James Nulf, Jr., Chief Operating Officer and Partner at Theory Design.
