Time to salute SWFL small business

Here we are looking at May—still moving through unprecedented times; what better time for the region to celebrate and support small business and its contribution to the local economy? So here in Southwest Florida, you can be a part of Southwest Florida Business Today’s (SWFBT) 15th Annual “Salute To Small Business” FocusFeature in our upcoming May edition. Whether you’re a small, mid-sized or large organization in this region, be a part of this special tribute to our local small business community at this very special time.

This issue provides an excellent opportunity to let our more than 50,000 in-print and online readers know what your business has to offer them. Print distribution is to businesses-doing-business-with-other-businesses located in Cape Coral, Fort Myers, Estero, Bonita Springs and Naples. SWFBT’s reach is the greatest it has ever been, in 15 years: the print edition is also direct-mailed to top executives at the top revenue companies in Lee and Collier counties, and a direct link to the digital version of the newspaper is also sent to every address in our email database.

SWFBT is the only local publication solely devoted to the needs of the local business owner/operator. There’s two ways available to you to educate area businesspeople about your business in this special edition. One way is to write a guest column about your business, at no charge to you. The second way is through traditional advertising. There is no charge for guest columns; they run space-available: we publish as many as our ad space supports. Advertisers receive priority for publication of their guest column submission, but non-advertiser guest column submissions get published in every issue.

Guest column guidelines for this issue are as follows. First, we’re looking for original material. Second, in this issue it can be written by business owners/operators about their businesses. Third, we would like a 20-30 word “mini-bio” of the author (or the company) and we will print that in addition to contact information. If you have a headshot or company photo we can use, that would also be appreciated. The guest column for this issue should be around 300 words. Please send your guest column submission to editor@swfloridabusinesstoday.com. It is due by 5pm W 4/13.

Regular (non-themed) guest column submissions are also welcome.

Remember that—because SWFBT is a member of the local small business community—your ad support allows us to publish more local business stories, news and information that is important to you, the local business owner.
