Todd Rinehart joins Charlotte State Bank & Trust

Todd R. Rinehart, one of Southwest Florida’s leading business bankers, has joined Charlotte State Bank & Trust as a vice president of commercial real estate lending. With 40 years of experience in all aspects of the banking industry, Rinehart has earned a reputation for providing exceptional service to his clients.

A resident of Cape Coral, Rinehart will be based in that city while serving as a commercial real estate lender for Charlotte State Bank & Trust. The bank offered lending services south of Charlotte County for a number of years prior to opening a Lee County office in 2015 and a Collier County office the following year. (Vice Presidents Cristin Madden and Jeff Pringle represents the bank in Collier with an office in Naples.)

“We’re happy to welcome Todd to our commercial real estate lending team,” said Charlotte State Bank & Trust Vice President and Senior Credit Officer Maryann Mize, CCIM. “His vast experience and expert knowledge of the Lee County business community will enable him to provide our clients there with first-class service.”

Rinehart started his banking career as a high school cooperative education student working part time and attending high school full time. His positions have ranged from branch manager to senior vice president and senior lending officer. He has a thorough working knowledge of lending fundamentals, credit analysis, interest rate risk, and financial regulatory management and reporting.

Rinehart attended the Florida School of Banking at the University of Florida in Gainesville in 1991 and the Graduate School of Banking at the University of Colorado in Boulder in 1997. He earned a bachelor’s degree in business management at Barry University in Miami Shores, Florida, in 1999.

“I’m excited to join Charlotte State Bank & Trust and help them become more established here in the Cape Coral/Fort Myers area,” he said. “I have spent my entire career developing business relationships, communicating with clients and customers, and helping them achieve their goals.”

A former chairman of the Cape Coral Chamber of Commerce, Rinehart currently serves as scholarship director for the Southwest Florida Junior Golf Association. He has been a board member of the Rotary Club of Cape Coral and a Big Brothers/Big Sisters of Southwest Florida volunteer.
