Town of Fort Myers Beach fireworks celebration moving forward
The Town of Fort Myers Beach is pleased to share an update regarding plans for the upcoming Fourth of July fireworks celebration, which will also serve as a meaningful opportunity to commemorate the nation’s 250th anniversary.
The fireworks deposit has been generously donated by the organization What’s Up FMB, a registered 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization, and a barge required for the event will be donated as well. Additional funding is still needed to cover the remaining expenses.
As communities across the country prepare to recognize this historic milestone, Town leadership is grateful for the strong local support that reflects the spirit of celebration surrounding America’s 250th anniversary. The Town remains Optimistic that the fireworks celebration will take place as planned, thanks to continued community involvement and ongoing fundraising efforts.
The Town is encouraged by the momentum generated so far and extends its appreciation to all who have contributed toward making this Fourth of July celebration possible during such a significant year in our nation’s history.
