Tween Waters Island Resort & Spa announces Berger as GM
Tween Waters Island Resort & Spa announces the appointment of Michele Berger as General Manager. Berger will oversee operations at the historic resort on Captiva Island, with an emphasis in staff management and guest satisfaction.
As a General Manager of retail and hospitality for over 20 years, and the former front desk manager of ‘Tween Waters, Berger brings extensive management experience to the Captiva Island Resort. Berger will supervise daily operations across all aspects of the resort, focusing mainly on building a happy, accountable staff and continuing to improve guest satisfaction, as well as meeting the daily needs of today’s leisure traveler.
“As soon as I stepped foot on the property I fell in love,” says Berger. “My goal as General Manager of ‘Tween Waters is to bring that passion to my work and instill it in the people I manage. Shouldn’t every day be this good?”
After managing a $10M-sales Ulta store for 17 years, Berger made the move to Florida in 2018. A fellow Florida lover, Michele’s father passed away during the move, and Michele took it as a sign that the move was meant to be. Berger enjoys the beaches here most of all, but also loves being active, working out, shopping, and spending every moment with her family. Berger has been married 31 years, with two kids, a son (26) and daughter (30), and has two grandchildren.
