Vanderbilt Country Club names Collett new CFO
Tim Miller, General Manager and COO of Vanderbilt Country Club of Naples, Florida, announced the selection of Krista Collett to the position of Chief Financial Officer for the golf community.
“We are delighted to have Krista join our team,” said Miller. “Her decades of senior level financial experience with golf course communities and their boards are invaluable as we are soon completing our multi-million-dollar clubhouse pool renovation project. In her role as CFO, Krista is responsible for budgeting and forecasting, financial analysis, internal controls and compliance. Working with our VCC department heads, Krista will play an important role in long-range financial planning, including capital improvements and other strategic initiatives.”
Collett began her career in the country club industry in 2003 at Country Club of the North (CCN) in Beavercreek, Ohio, the only Jack Nicklaus Signature Golf Course in SW Ohio. While working at CCN for 13 years, she earned her associate’s degree in accounting. She relocated to Florida in 2016 with her husband, Jason, and two daughters and obtained her bachelor’s in business administration from Kaplan University. She spent six years as Club Controller for Vineyards Country Club. Most recently, she was the Director of Finance at Copperleaf Golf Club for two years.
