VERSAGYM™ expands mobile fitness operation to Texas

Naples, FL – Thinking big, Naples-based VERSGAGYM™ is springing forward with its mobile fitness business into Texas and deeper into the South. The mobile fitness operation will first focus on the Texas communities of Allen and McKinney, near Dallas.

“We plan on launching in just about every Southern state by the end of this year,” said VERSAGYM™ partner Blake Cathey, the sole investor in VERSAGYM™ and partner at Accanito Capital Group, which launched the concept with Naples fitness coach Carlos Garcia. “The luxury markets in states like North Carolina, Tennessee, Georgia – and even out west in Arizona, Southern California – they are all demanding this service. We have developed great relationships with training professionals in all of these markets and feel equipped to step into an untapped market quickly and with a lot of force.”

That force stems from the trademarked VERSAGYM™ itself, a mobile unit that brings clean, personalized fitness training to clients’ driveways. In September 2020, during the social distancing height of the pandemic, VERSAGYM™ launched an outdoor concept that is a safer alternative to overcrowded gyms or public places.

VERSAGYM™ mobility and versatility saves clients time and offers them convenience by coming to their driveways, backyards, garages or businesses in a 6-foot-wide, 12-foot-long, 5,000-pound custom-built trailer. Its black box expands in less than 15 minutes into a multi-station fitness center designed for one-on-one training sessions or group classes for up to 12 people.

Carlos Garcia

After staggering demand, Texas proprietor Jaylynn Hayes is launching VERSAGYM™ in the Allen, McKinney and Plano areas. Garcia said Hayes is the perfect ambassador for VERSAGYM™.

“Jaylynn has a true passion for helping others and an extensive background in personal training,” Garcia said. “This mixed with his work ethic is why we knew he would be the best for us – and he’s already proving it.”

Hayes, who has known Garcia since grade school, says the VERSAGYM™ concept is perfect for families because one fee covers the entire household.

“We are trying to get as many of these on the road as possible,” Hayes said. “There are a ton of people and a lot of areas where there isn’t a gym nearby. We can bring one straight to your driveway so you can do it wherever and whenever you need to.”

Spring is the perfect time of the year to maintain fitness resolutions and to get bodies in shape for summer. VERSAGYM™ helps head off excuses when it comes to health and fitness goals with the first versatile mobile operation.

“There’s no excuse because of COVID. There’s no excuse because of time or travel,” founder Garcia said. “They are literally getting a gym brought into their driveway. Everything is built into the VERSAGYM™.”

Workouts are tailor-made to meet the individual goals of clients, whether they need rehabilitation or desire to lose weight, bulk up or tone.

“It’s an outdoor version of what you would find in a real gym,” Carlos said. “It’s more than enough equipment than they would ever need.”
